    This is the 3rd book in the Twilight series and by far, this is my favorite one!!!! I truly got engulfed in the story and could not put it down. Some of my favorite chapters, I read more than once…….I off to reading the next one…..

    The only reason I’ve read these books is to try and find some reason for all of the hype. I have never found one thing to get excited about in this series. I don’t know why I punish myself. I haven’t ever rolled my eyes listening to an audiobook before this. Bella is sooooo UNLIKABLE and I don’t see any reason to fall in love with Edward. I cannot properly put into words how much I dispise Bella. She hasn’t enjoyed anything in her life ever it seems (why does she want to be immortal if she hates everything about life?). All I can picture at Charlie’s house is an empty, boring existence with nothing but chores and homework to keep her busy. If she spends so much time studying as in the past books and if Edward knows every detail taught in his classes, then why aren’t they valedectorians? There is no logic in these books and I really want to shake the author for writing such poor characters. Jacob turned into a slime, Bella hates everyone and everything except Edward, and Edward has never done or said anything wrong. Bella and Edward have never been in a fight, which is a red flag that this isn’t true love for eternity because they haven’t gone through anything hard to make the readers root for them. They just fight the “monsters”. BORING. TERRIBLE.

    This book is very entertaining. Many people give it a bad review, but everyone is reading all of the books and they will go to see all of the movies. This is just entertainment and it entertained me. Bella does not deserve Edward or Jacob or all of the attention she gets. I know that–but these books are fun to read. If you are going to finish the book and take the time to review it, you must care about it at some level.

    This was a great find. The price couldn’t be beat and I wanted it for X-mas and hadn’t gotten it.
